Doctors at Medgate
Learn and practice telemedicine with a solid foundation and state-of-the-art technological support—all while enjoying reliable work hours, part-time options, and the ability to work from home.
Who We're Looking For
- Physicians who have completed medical school and hold a medical degree, as well as a board certification in General Internal Medicine or at least two years of experience in general practice
- Physicians with digital affinity and a passion for technology
- Physicians with strong communication skills and the ability to listen: Telemedicine practitioners “see” with their ears and develop a clear clinical picture by asking targeted questions
- Physicians who enjoy working in a structured and independent manner: We’ve perfected telemedicine over the past 25 years and would be happy to show you how we use a structured approach to deliver the best possible care
- Especially important: great colleagues—because even the best job is twice as enjoyable with the right team
Your Benefits
Even though very few people study medicine because they want to become telemedicine professionals from the start, telemedicine might suddenly turn out to be the perfect fit for your everyday life.
High Flexibility
Part-time schedules, flexible scheduling options, and the ability to work from home without any issues make it easier to manage a busy daily routine.
Close to the Patients
Even though we don't see our patients, as telemedicine providers we are very close to them: When we call, we reach our patients right in the midst of their daily lives, in their familiar surroundings.
Valuable Education
We have perfected telemedicine over the past 25 years and are happy to share our experience with you. Upon completion of our internationally recognized introductory training course, you will receive a telemedicine certificate.
Medicine of the Future
While some places still rely on fax machines, at Medgate we have fully digitized our processes and reduced administrative work to an absolute minimum using AI-powered digital tools.
Home Office
Since we care for our patients remotely, it doesn't matter whether we work at the Medgate office or log into the Medgate world from home. Not having to commute frees up time for other things.
Reliability
If your schedule says “Shift ends at 3:00 p.m., ” you can close your laptop at 3:01 p.m. Your colleagues will then take over care of the patients who are in the digital waiting room.

Family-Friendly
The medical profession is fulfilling, meaningful, and highly regarded by society. However, balancing work and personal life often poses a challenge. Telemedicine offers you, as a doctor, the opportunity to continue practicing your profession with dedication while gaining more reliable predictability—for example, for your family or your friendships. Even though night and weekend shifts are part of the job, our structured shift schedules allow you to reliably plan and actively shape your personal life.
